Bimbo Ademoye Denies Toyin Abraham’s Claims of New House and Car
Nigerian actress Bimbo Ademoye has playfully dismissed recent claims by fellow actress Toyin Abraham that she acquired a new house and car.
The announcement came during the premiere of Toyin Abraham’s movie Alakada: Bahd and Boujee on Sunday, where Abraham excitedly told the audience, “Bimbo just bought a house and a car. Latest Benz.” The statement sparked immediate reactions, including actress Ini Edo’s playful interjection. In a viral video circulating online, Ini Edo was seen tapping Abraham on the shoulder and humorously asking, “Who send you?”
In response, Bimbo Ademoye took to her Instagram on Tuesday to clear the air, denying the claim in her signature lighthearted manner. Speaking in pidgin English, she jokingly blamed Toyin Abraham’s movie character, Yetunde Animashaun, for spreading the “lies.”
Ademoye quipped, “Yetunde Animashaun paro ku. She even dropped one lie last night at the premiere of #AlakadaBadandBoujee. House and car whereeeeeee, wey I never chop belleful.”
Her post, filled with humor and self-deprecation, suggested she was far from being at such a financial level and was more focused on “chopping belleful” (satisfying her basic needs).
While Toyin Abraham’s excitement may have been in jest, Ademoye’s witty response has further endeared her to fans who appreciate her down-to-earth nature and comedic charm. The lighthearted exchange between the actresses has sparked laughter and conversations across social media, adding an extra layer of entertainment to the film premiere.
