Blueface Sentenced in Vegas Strip Club Shooting
Rapper Blueface has been sentenced to an extensive probation period due to his involvement in a shooting incident that occurred at a strip club in Las Vegas, Nevada. The incident left a man injured, and the controversial rapper recently appeared before the court to face charges related to the 2022 occurrence.
During the court proceedings, the victim, Kentabius Traylor, provided a testimony detailing the events. Traylor informed the presiding judge, Clark County District Court Judge Kathleen E. Delaney, that the rapper, known for hits like “Thotiana,” fired a weapon at him after he made a comment about the vehicle Blueface was driving.
As a result of his actions, Blueface received a sentence of 24 to 60 months in prison. However, this sentence was suspended, meaning that he will serve this duration as probation rather than imprisonment.
Blueface’s probation comes with stringent conditions. He is prohibited from possessing alcohol, drugs, or any type of weapons, including firearms. Furthermore, he is not allowed to enter specific areas of Las Vegas, such as the Strip corridor and the Downtown corridor, unless it is for work-related purposes. Any violation of these probation conditions will result in Blueface being required to serve the remainder of his sentence in prison.
The rapper pleaded guilty to one felony count of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and one misdemeanor battery charge. Notably, he had faced attempted murder charges as well, but those charges were dismissed as part of his probation agreement.
The case was initiated following a disagreement that reportedly began with a jest. Legal documents indicate that the incident took place at the Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club in Las Vegas in October 2022. Blueface’s alleged shooting victim apparently made a comment about the rapper talking to some women in a modest vehicle, which did not sit well with Blueface and his crew.
Members of Blueface’s entourage purportedly assaulted the man several times. When he attempted to leave in his truck, Blueface allegedly fired shots at the vehicle as it drove away. The truck sustained multiple bullet marks, and the man suffered a graze wound from a bullet on his left hand.
Subsequently, a man claiming to be the owner of the Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club asserted that the establishment had to close due to the “gang-related activities” that Blueface brought into the venue. He expressed a desire to see the rapper either spend his life in prison or compensate the club until his passing.
A separate civil lawsuit related to the shooting is still pending as of now.
