Cardi B Faces Twitter Trolls, Admits Suicidal Thoughts

Cardi B, the Grammy-winning rapper, found herself entangled in a Twitter feud with critics that escalated to a concerning level. During the early hours of Wednesday morning (October 18), Cardi clashed with several Twitter trolls, leading her to openly admit to having suicidal thoughts.

The confrontation began when one user made an insensitive comment, implying that Cardi was the “only Mexican I know that don’t work hard.” Cardi, who is of Dominican, Trinidadian, African, and Spanish descent, swiftly responded with a harsh retort, saying, “Hope you and ur mom die.”

Another fan tried to advise Cardi against wishing harm on others, cautioning her that karma could have repercussions. To this, the Bronx native replied, “IDGAF. Fck y’all… y’all can call me Mexican, bring me down, hurt my feelings, talk sht about everything. That’s why I don’t release music.”

In a troubling turn, Cardi hinted at wanting to end her life, writing, “I just want to put a bullet in my head.” Although she later deleted these posts, her tweets went viral on social media, prompting her sister, Hennessy Carolina, to come to her defense.

In response to the situation, Hennessy stated, “Anybody that don’t like my sister can suck [a d*ck].” She made this comment in The Neighborhood Talk’s Instagram comment section.

Amidst the turmoil, Cardi B is forging ahead with yet another brand partnership. She has become the latest rapper to join Kim Kardashian in a campaign for her SKIMS shapewear brand. Cardi’s collaboration with SKIMS was unveiled in a sultry trailer on Monday (October 16), where she was seen modeling the new Cotton Collection.

Cardi expressed her enthusiasm for the SKIMS Cotton Collection, saying it is both sexy and comfortable. She looks forward to wearing the new styles and colors regularly.
