Cristiano Ronaldo Bags Two Assists as Al-Nassr Go Top of the League
Al Nassr are beginning to see Cristiano Ronaldo as a decisive player, as well as an undisputed member of the starting eleven.
As reported on Marca, the Portuguese provided the two assists in the 2-1 win over Al Taawon and has now scored three league goals in three games.
The first assist was given to Ghareeb to open the scoring, but Alvaro Medran equalised soon after the start of the second half.
In the 78th minute, and after a VAR review, Madu’s goal was added to the scoreboard, also after an assist from Cristiano, who left the ball for him to score in front of goal.
With the win, Al Nassr regained the lead in the Saudi Premier League, which they share with Al Ittihad.
