Davido Threatens Radiogad Over Criticism of His Song
Nigerian music star Davido has issued a threat to social media commentator Radiogad after the latter criticized a snippet from his upcoming album, 5ive.
Radiogad had previously shared his opinion on the preview, condemning the song’s quality and advising Davido to quit music. The remarks did not sit well with the Afrobeats superstar, who reportedly sent direct messages (DMs) to Radiogad, warning him to delete the video review.
In a leaked conversation shared on X, Davido expressed his frustration, accusing Radiogad of tarnishing a project he had worked hard on. The singer also allegedly vowed to “deal with” the commentator and demanded that he stop posting about him.
Reacting to the threat, Radiogad called on the public to hold Davido responsible if anything happens to him or his family.
“Davido came into my DM last night and threatened to kpai me. If anything happens to me or my family, just know Davido is behind it,” he wrote.
He further emphasized his right to express his opinions as a social commentator and shared screenshots of the alleged messages as evidence.
