DJ Khaled Urges Fans to Persuade Rihanna to Feature on His Upcoming Album
DJ Khaled has made a public plea to his fans to help him secure a feature from Rihanna for his forthcoming album. Appearing on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon, the renowned DJ revealed that he has already sent a track to Rihanna and is eagerly awaiting her response.
“I just sent her [Rihanna] a record that I want her to get on. I need y’all to help me get the message to her,” Khaled implored the audience.
The anticipated album, titled “Til Next Time,” will be DJ Khaled’s 14th studio release and is set to drop later this year. In an interview with Rolling Stone last year, Khaled confirmed that Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy would also feature on the album. He mentioned that Afrobeats has been a significant influence on his new project.
Rihanna has been on a musical hiatus, with her last major release being the song “Lift Me Up” for the Black Panther 2 soundtrack, co-written by Oscar-nominated Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see if DJ Khaled’s request will bring Rihanna back into the studio for his upcoming album.
