Dr. Dre Celebrating 30 Years of ‘The Chronic’ With Exclusive Memorabilia Drop
Celebrated Hip Hop icon Dr. Dre has been commemorating the 30th anniversary of his groundbreaking debut album, “The Chronic,” for some time now. To the delight of fans, an exclusive memorabilia drop, “The Chronic Masters,” is set to launch on Tuesday, October 3. These unique items will be available on the Interscope Records website. “The Chronic Masters” collection features an array of memorabilia, including new artwork, clothing items, and skate decks.
Among the standout collectible items are fine art prints, including “Session Grid,” “Session Stacks,” and “The Masters.” These prints will only be available for a limited time, making them highly sought-after by fans and collectors alike. For those looking for more affordable options, a range of merchandise, including T-shirts, will also be available.
“The Chronic” is a testament to Dr. Dre’s unparalleled contributions to the world of Hip Hop. However, according to the Bay Area rapper Symba, Dr. Dre’s talents extend beyond music. In a recent interview on the “Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson” podcast, Symba shared his experiences working with the Compton icon. He revealed that Dr. Dre had encouraged him to act out his lyrics, resulting in a significant improvement in his performance.
Symba demonstrated this by delivering a short excerpt of his song “Can’t Win for Nothing” twice. The first time, he delivered it in a monotone fashion, but in the second, he added emphasis, conveying the events and emotions the lyrics addressed more convincingly.
“I didn’t know how to do that until I got around [Dre],” Symba admitted.
Symba had further praise for Dr. Dre, stating, “He also has the best ear and the best understanding of rap music.” He emphasized his reverence for Dre’s guidance in the studio, highlighting that everything Dre suggested ultimately improved the music.
Symba has been speaking about his collaboration with Dr. Dre since late last year. He hinted at a significant volume of unreleased music from their partnership, speculating that some of it might appear on Dre’s forthcoming joint album with Snoop Dogg, “Missionary.” Snoop Dogg recently assured fans that the album would be completed by November, heightening anticipation among Hip Hop enthusiasts.
