Drake, A$AP Rocky and the Weeknd

Drake Targeted Again by A$AP Rocky and The Weeknd in Future and Metro Boomin’s Latest Album

In the recently released album “We Still Don’t Trust You” by Future and Metro Boomin, Drake finds himself under fire once more as A$AP Rocky and The Weeknd appear to take aim at the Canadian artist.

Rocky’s verse in the track “Show of Hands” suggests a history with Drake’s ex, Sophie Brussaux, prior to the birth of their son, Adonis. This insinuation of past involvement adds a personal dimension to the ongoing tension between the two artists. Moreover, Rocky’s lyrics appear to question the impact of Drake’s recent album release, hinting at a lack of lasting resonance in the music industry.

Meanwhile, The Weeknd, who features prominently throughout the album, seems to express a sense of betrayal in his song “All to Myself.” His lyrics hint at unresolved issues stemming from their past collaborations and the dynamics of their professional relationship. Specifically, The Weeknd’s references to “leaks in their operation” and his decision to remain independent may allude to conflicts over artistic control and label affiliations.

While Drake has yet to respond publicly to these fresh criticisms, rumours circulating within the industry suggest that he may have a “nuclear” diss track prepared, potentially aimed at Kendrick Lamar, his longtime rival. This ongoing saga adds another layer of intrigue to the complex dynamics within the hip-hop community.

Future and Metro Boomin’s We Still Don’t Trust You, which also features J. Cole, Lil Baby, Chris Brown and Ty Dolla $ign, can be streamed in full here.
