Ed Sheeran Drops into Local Brewery, Breaks Attendance Record at Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Popular singer Ed Sheeran recently gave fans a thrill with an impromptu performance at SweetWater Brewing Co. in Atlanta before his highly anticipated concert.
According to a Facebook post, Sheeran not only treated everyone, including the “Galway Girls” and other patrons, to a round of drinks but also showcased songs from his latest album, “Subtract.” Additionally, he took the time to explore the brewery during his visit.
Later, Sheeran took the stage at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for his scheduled concert. The stadium’s official Twitter account shared a tweet revealing that the talented artist broke the attendance record for a concert at Mercedes-Benz, as a whopping 76,355 fans flocked to witness his performance.
“Subtract” marks Sheeran’s sixth studio album, and he is currently embarking on a 21-date stadium tour to promote his new music.
In a heartwarming gesture during his stop in Tampa, Florida, last weekend, he surprised band students at Middleton High School by gifting them concert tickets and guitars.
Alongside showcasing tracks from his latest album, Sheeran continues to delight audiences with performances of his beloved songs from previous albums throughout his shows.
