Korra Obidi Secures Permanent Restraining Order Against Ex-Husband Justin Dean

Nigerian dancer Korra Obidi, who is based in the United States, has successfully obtained a permanent restraining order against her ex-husband, Justin Dean, after a prolonged legal battle. The news was shared by her sister, Nancy, in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

The legal victory comes after the couple’s tumultuous marriage ended in 2022, following allegations of infidelity. In a court order dated January 19, 2022, both Obidi and Dean were prohibited from posting photos and videos of their children, June and Athena Dean, on social media.

In June 2023, Korra raised concerns on social media about anonymous reports made to Child Protective Services (CPS) accusing her of child abuse.

Nancy’s Instagram post detailed a series of allegations against Dean, including harassment, exploitation, and defamation, with the involvement of an associate who allegedly shared intimate content of their children online.

Nancy wrote, “Today, my sister @korraobidi secured a permanent restraining order against her Facebook stalker. This stalker defamed, harassed, and threatened her for over two years on Facebook. The stalker also befriended my sister’s ex and shared inappropriate photos and videos of her children.”

Nancy further explained that Korra has spent nearly $200,000 in her legal fight to maintain her relationship with her children. The restraining order prohibits the stalker from coming within 100 yards of Korra and her children, as well as from harassing her online.

“We are grateful to God for my sister,” Nancy added. “Now, she’ll fight for her total freedom.”

This marks a significant step in Korra Obidi’s ongoing legal battles as she seeks to regain her rights as a mother and protect her children from further exploitation.
