In a candid video shared on Instagram, British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran opened up about how his career in music has influenced his personal life, particularly his romantic relationships. The 33-year-old, known for his soulful hits and multiple Grammy awards, revealed, “If I wasn’t a musician, I’d be a virgin.”
Sheeran’s first public relationship was with Scottish singer Nina Nesbitt in 2012, who inspired his songs “Nina” and “Photograph.” In 2014, he dated Athina Andrelos, the muse behind his hit “Thinking Out Loud,” before they split in February 2015.
In July 2015, Sheeran rekindled a relationship with his childhood friend Cherry Seaborn. The couple got engaged in January 2018 and tied the knot a year later. Cherry inspired Sheeran’s romantic ballad “Perfect.” The couple has since welcomed two daughters, the first in 2020 and the second on May 19, 2022.
