Eminem Reportedly Loaned Ex-Wife Kim Mathers $600K for New Home
Eminem, also known as Marshall Bruce Mathers III, has made headlines by extending a helping hand to his ex-wife, Kim Mathers, in a surprising gesture that suggests an amicable relationship may be in the works.
Property documents obtained by The U.S. Sun reveal that Kim Mathers secured a substantial loan of $615,000 in December 2022. The loan was provided by Shady Games Inc., a company owned and founded by the iconic rapper Eminem.
Kim Mathers utilized the funds to acquire a four-bedroom property located in Macomb, Michigan. This transaction occurred as she was in the process of departing the custom mansion previously gifted to her by Eminem several years ago. In March 2023, Mathers successfully sold the said property for $1.35 million.
This development coincides with Kim Mathers embracing a striking new look, which has captured the public’s attention in anticipation of her daughter Hailie’s forthcoming wedding to her longtime boyfriend.
Recently surfaced photos depicted Kim in what has been described as a “grunge” style, complete with short blond hair and tattoos. While Kim typically maintains a low profile, this transformation has drawn considerable interest.
The 48-year-old mother has confirmed her attendance at the wedding of her daughter Hailie Jade to Evan McClintock, with Eminem expected to escort his daughter down the aisle.
Kim Mathers, in an interview with The U.S. Sun, revealed that she maintains contact with the renowned Hip-Hop artist. Despite being the subject of Eminem’s intense emotions in songs like “Kim,” the former couple appears to be fostering a positive relationship, with Kim asserting that they see each other “not often, but often enough!”
In a separate development, Eminem recently embraced a new role as a father-in-law for the first time. His eldest daughter, Alaina, whom he affectionately calls “Lainey,” tied the knot in June with her longtime boyfriend, Matt Moller, in Detroit, Michigan, the rapper’s hometown. Hailie, Eminem’s younger daughter, participated as a bridesmaid.
Although Eminem did not appear in any of the wedding photos shared on Alaina’s Instagram, Kim Mathers subsequently confirmed that Slim Shady proudly walked his adopted daughter down the aisle.
Alaina shared her joy on Instagram, stating, “June 9, 2023, simply one of the best days of my life. In this lifetime and in the next, my soul will always find yours.”
Eminem formally adopted Alaina during the early 2000s, providing her with stability and support amid her mother’s struggle with drug addiction. Tragically, Alaina’s biological mother, who was Kim Mathers’ twin sister, passed away due to a drug overdose in 2016.
