Former Motown CEO Refutes Allegations, Will Not Testify Against Diddy

Ethiopia Habtemariam, the former CEO of Motown Records, has unequivocally denied any involvement in the ongoing lawsuits against music mogul Diddy, asserting that she will not testify against him.

Following accusations made in a lawsuit by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, which implicated Habtemariam in alleged criminal activities, the former executive has set the record straight through a statement shared with AllHipHop. She emphasized that she has no knowledge of any wrongdoing by Diddy and refuted claims of her involvement in any criminal enterprise.

In her statement, Habtemariam clarified that she never participated in or concealed any illegal activities, addressing the allegations against her as false and deeply upsetting. She asserted her innocence and stated that she should never have been named a defendant in the lawsuit.

Moreover, Habtemariam’s legal counsel provided a revised declaration, correcting what she described as a false narrative presented by Jones’ lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn. Despite efforts to provide a truthful account, she expressed dissatisfaction with Blackburn’s representation of her involvement in the case.

The lawsuit filed by Lil Rod contains highly sensitive and graphic information, including allegations of sexual assault, sex trafficking, and illegal activities. However, Diddy and his legal representatives have vehemently denied all claims, dismissing them as fabrications aimed at extracting financial gain.

This marks the latest development in a series of lawsuits brought against Diddy, including allegations of rape and domestic violence by Cassie, a former partner, and accusations of sexual assault by Joi Dickerson-Neal. Diddy has consistently denied these allegations, attributing them to opportunistic attempts to exploit his fame for financial motives.

As the legal proceedings unfold, Diddy has also raised concerns about being unfairly targeted by cancel culture, asserting his innocence and challenging the credibility of the accusations leveled against him.
