During his presentation at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards on Tuesday (September 12), French Montana revealed his partnership with Global Citizen and CARE in an effort to aid the people of Morocco. A subsequent press release disclosed the details of his generous donation, highlighting that the funds will be directed towards providing essential emergency relief, including water, food, shelter, medical support, and more.
French Montana took to Instagram on Wednesday (September 13) to share an article from Complex regarding his philanthropic initiative. In his post, he urged others to contribute, emphasizing that even small donations can make a significant impact. He stated, “My people in Morocco are hurting from this tragedy. Please donate here to help those in need, even a little goes a long way. I’m starting this emergency fund off with $100k.” He also mentioned that more of his friends would be joining the cause.

Just last week, he collaborated with Swae Lee, gamma., and SALXCO to donate 500 canoes to the stilted community of Makoko in Lagos, Nigeria.
