Ghanaian Singer Admits He Sings Like a Nigerian Because “They Are Taking Over music in Africa”
Fast-rising Ghanaian singer, Lasmid Owusu Nathaniel also known as ‘Lasmid’ has admitted that the reason he sings like a Nigerian is because “they are taking over the music space.”
The singer revealed this during an interview with Sammy Kay on the Go Online show, Lasmid affirmed that singing like a Nigerian is both a strategy and a good thing for him.
According to Lasmid, there are benefits in learning the ways of people to overtake them or do better than them, hence his reason to sound a Nigerian as he hopes to carve a lasting niche for himself on the global music scene. Watch the video clip below.
