Haaland Gifts All Dortmund Teammates and Staff Rolex Watches as Goodbye Gift
Erling Haaland spend half a million pounds on Rolex watches for his Borussia Dortmund teammates and staff ahead of his move to Manchester City in the summer.
Haaland will leave Dortmund at the end of June, so has bought 33 Rolex watches, worth 12,730 pounds each, for the club’s players.
According to Bild, he also purchased 2-OMEGA watches for the backroom staff, worth 4,128 pounds each.
How much will Haaland earn at Man City?
Haaland will earn 375,000 pounds a week when he joins City, the same wages as Kevin de Bruyne.
City were able to buy Haaland, who scored 86 goals in 89 appearances in the Bundesliga, for a fee believed to be 51 million pounds
The Norwegian posted a farewell message to his fans following his final match for the club.
“I’ve spent memorable moments, met special people, not to mention a fanbase that has been always our extra man on the pitch,” he said.
“The Yellow Wall is truly incredible. I’ll never forget any of this! Thank you all!”
