Heineken and Bole Festival in Port Harcourt

Heineken Elevates Port Harcourt’s Bole Festival 2024 with Unforgettable Experiences

Heineken, the globally recognized beer brand, made a significant impact at the 2024 Bole Festival, a vibrant annual celebration of food, culture, and community in Port Harcourt, Nigeria.

Hosted at Yakubu Gowon Stadium over two days, the festival attracted thousands of attendees, all eager to immerse themselves in this year’s theme, “Rhythm and Vibration.” The theme perfectly encapsulated Heineken’s commitment to creating unforgettable experiences and delivering the “Good Times.”

The Bole Festival, known as the largest food and entertainment event in Southern Nigeria, once again paid tribute to ‘Bole’—the beloved roasted plantain dish that holds a special place in the hearts of many, particularly in Port Harcourt and the South-South region. However, it was Heineken’s presence that truly amplified the spirit of unity and celebration that the festival embodies.

Kola Akintimehin, Senior Brand Manager of Heineken at Nigerian Breweries Plc, expressed the brand’s enthusiasm for being a part of the event. “Partnering with the Bole Festival aligns perfectly with our mission to bring people together for ‘Good Times.’ We were thrilled to witness the incredible blend of culture, connection, and celebration—exactly the kind of memorable moments we cherish as a brand that embraces Nigeria’s dynamic culture.”

Heineken’s influence was evident throughout the festival, from lively music performances to the immersive Heineken beer village and tantalizing food showcases. The brand’s involvement not only enhanced the festival atmosphere but also reinforced Heineken’s dedication to celebrating local traditions and supporting community-centric events.

As the 2024 Bole Festival concluded, it was clear that Heineken had played a pivotal role in its success, further strengthening its connection with the community by celebrating Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage. With this year’s achievements, Heineken eagerly anticipates many more opportunities to bring people together through food, fun, and music in the future.

Cheers to many more ‘Good Times’ ahead.
