Hulu Cuts Ties with Diddy’s Reality Show Amidst Sexual Assault Allegations

Diddy, the renowned figure behind Bad Boy Records, is facing further setbacks in the wake of sexual assault allegations, as Hulu officially scraps plans for the reality television series “Diddy+7.” The streaming platform had been in collaboration with the music mogul on the show, which aimed to provide a glimpse into Diddy’s family life.

Variety had earlier reported that Hulu, after initially working on the project with Diddy, has decided to sever ties in light of the serious accusations. The reality show, still in its early stages and set to be produced in partnership with James Corden’s company, Fulwell 73, has now been completely abandoned.

The 54-year-old entrepreneur has been facing a series of allegations, leading to considerable repercussions for his various business ventures. The report notes that Diddy has lost partnerships with 18 companies related to his e-commerce site, Empower Global, as a result of the mounting legal troubles.

Partners withdrawing from collaborations with Diddy have cited the severity of the allegations as a primary reason for their decisions. Annette Njau, founder of House of Takura, referred to Cassie’s initial lawsuit against Diddy as a factor in the dissolution of their deal. Other partners expressed the difficulty of the decision but emphasized the importance of taking a stand against mistreatment and the allegations.

Diddy has not yet responded to the recent developments, but he has consistently denied any criminal wrongdoing and refuted the sexual assault claims. In a previous social media statement, he asserted his innocence and declared his intent to fight for his name, family, and the truth.

The mogul has faced significant consequences in the aftermath of the allegations, including stepping down from his position as chairman at Revolt, the TV network he founded in 2012. The fallout continues as Diddy navigates the challenges posed by the accusations against him.
