I Don’t Trust You Completely – Toyosi Effiong Tells Husband Daniel Etim Effiong
Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong’s wife, Toyosi Effiong, has revealed that she does not have complete trust in him despite their seven years of marriage.
During the latest episode of her podcast, The Toyosi Podcast, where the actor was a guest, Daniel posed a candid question to his wife, asking if she trusts him 100 per cent.
In response, Toyosi admitted she trusts her husband to a significant extent but not entirely.
“Do I trust you a hundred per cent? No, but I trust that you will always keep me in the loop,” she said with a laugh.
Explaining further, Toyosi clarified, “I’ve spent these years with you, I know you to a large extent and I’m getting to know you better. I think you will do your absolute best to honour your vows and honour what we have. But I’m also aware that… things happen.”
She added that her deep understanding of him over the years gives her confidence that she would notice if anything ever went wrong.
Toyosi’s candid remarks offer a glimpse into the complexities of trust in long-term relationships and reflect a balance between confidence in her partner and an awareness of life’s unpredictability.
