I Will Not Stay in Relationship That Requires Me to Abandon My True Self – DJ Cuppy
Nigerian DJ and music star, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has made it clear that she will no longer remain in situations that demand she abandon her authentic self.
In a statement shared on her X handle on Monday, Cuppy emphasized her commitment to staying true to who she is, whether in relationships, conversations, or public platforms.
“I’m not staying. In a room, a convo, a relationship, a platform, or anywhere at all that requires me to abandon my true self. I’m done with that!” she wrote.
DJ Cuppy’s declaration comes amid ongoing public attention on her personal life, particularly her openness about her desire to find love. Her last relationship – a whirlwind engagement to British boxer Ryan Taylor – ended in July 2023, just seven months after they surprised fans with their engagement in November 2022.
