Tiwa Savage: ‘God Delayed My Success to Inspire Other Women’
Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage has shared her perspective on the late start of her career success, describing it as part of a divine plan.
Speaking on The Receipts podcast, the 44-year-old singer revealed that she believes God delayed her breakthrough to serve a greater purpose, particularly to inspire women who feel uncertain about their journeys.
“I feel like God has done this on purpose,” Tiwa explained. “I used to question why I wasn’t successful in my twenties, but I started succeeding in my thirties. It’s to bless that 25-year-old girl who’s scared about what the future holds. If she sees my story, she’ll know, ‘I still have time.’”
Tiwa’s reflections resonate with many, offering encouragement to women who feel pressured to achieve success at a young age. Her message highlights the importance of embracing individual timelines and trusting the process.
