Ice-T Makes Highly Anticipated Debut on ‘Rick and Morty’ in Upcoming Episode

Fans of the hit animated series ‘Rick and Morty’ are in for a treat as Ice-T, the renowned rapper and actor, is set to make his debut on the show in an upcoming episode airing on Sunday (December 3). Ice-T has been an avid supporter of the show, expressing his admiration for it on multiple occasions in the past.

In the upcoming episode, Ice-T lends his voice to a character named Magma Q, adding a unique touch to the sci-fi comedy series. The co-creator of ‘Rick and Morty,’ Dan Harmon, had previously based a character on the Los Angeles native back in 2015, which he himself voiced.

Ice-T’s cameo is highly anticipated, especially after his vocal admiration for the show. In a 2018 interview with GQ, Harmon expressed his desire to work with the rapper/actor, stating, “I love Ice-T and it would be a fantasy come true to have him come and do Ice-T or Water-T or any other character. He could be Vice President or whatever. It would be great to work with him sometime. I love his voice. That’s why I do a dumb impression of it.”

Earlier this week, Ice-T took to Twitter to tease his appearance on the show, writing, “Check out the next @rickandmorty You might recognize somebody.” The anticipation among fans has been building, and they are eager to see how the rapper’s unique style and voice will be incorporated into the animated series.

Cartoon crossovers with hip-hop artists are becoming increasingly common, with shows like ‘Futurama’ featuring iconic figures in animated form. In a recent episode of ‘Futurama,’ Coolio, who sadly passed away last year, made a final appearance as his character, Kwanzaa-bot, delivering a bittersweet verse and leaving fans with a memorable farewell.
