“I’m Done With Cheating” – Davido Vows to Stay Faithful

Afrobeats superstar Davido has declared that he is officially stepping away from his past lifestyle of infidelity, stating that cheating has brought more problems than it’s worth.

The singer made the statement during a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, where he opened up about his personal life, relationships, and the lessons he has learned over time.

“I said I’m not cheating again. I no dey cheat again. You no hear wetin I talk? I said I don’t want any wahala. Cheating comes with lots of problems,” Davido said candidly during the interview.

The award-winning artist, who has five children with four different women, has previously faced public scrutiny over his romantic entanglements – many of which played out on social media. Since marrying his longtime partner Chioma in 2023, Davido has been making an effort to change the narrative around his love life.

Reflecting on family influences, the singer added, “My uncle that’s a governor has two wives. Another uncle said all his wives live together and even play with each other. But even with all the money, there’s still wahala. I’m not cheating again. And I can’t have another wife.”

Davido’s declaration signals a shift toward a more stable and intentional personal life, even as he continues to dominate the music scene.
