‘I’m Leader of Plantashun Boiz Not 2Face – Blackface
Singer Blackface has asserted that he was the true leader of the iconic Nigerian music group, Plantashun Boiz, which originally featured himself, 2Baba (formerly 2Face), and Faze.
During a recent interview with media personality Daddy Freeze on Instagram Live, Blackface shared his intention to revive the group in 2024. He reflected on the formation of Plantashun Boiz, revealing that he was the one who initially brought 2Baba into the group and later added Faze to the lineup.
“I’m the head of Plantashun Boiz, not 2Baba. I brought 2Baba to Plantashun Boiz,” Blackface said, asserting his role in the band’s creation and early success.
The group, which gained popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s, disbanded years ago, but Blackface’s comments suggest he is keen on rekindling the musical legacy they once shared.
