According to a source, Johnny made this decision to ensure he got enough rest and to prepare for upcoming media interviews.

Despite his low-key Cannes experience, he is expected to attend a tribute concert in London for his late friend Jeff Beck, followed by performances with his band Hollywood Vampires.

The Sunday Mirror featured a photo of Johnny’s empty seat at the Carlton Cannes bash for ‘Jeanne du Barry’, mentioning that he missed out on a lavish dinner.
The dinner included delicacies such as white lobster salad, flame-seared sea bass, and St Honoré pastry dessert.
An insider revealed that Johnny’s absence surprised everyone, as it is uncommon for the film’s star to skip such an event.
