Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign Set to Release Joint Album at Italian Concert

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign are reportedly on the verge of unveiling their joint album with a grand concert event in Italy later this month. According to Billboard, the iconic Chicago rapper and the California crooner plan to perform their yet-to-be-titled project for the first time on October 27 at an undisclosed location.

Previous reports indicated that the concert could potentially be held at the RCF Arena, formerly known as Campovolo, an outdoor venue in Reggio Emilia capable of accommodating up to 100,000 people. However, details about ticket availability and the album’s streaming release date remain uncertain.

If the event proceeds as planned, it will follow Kanye West’s tradition of rolling out albums with stadium-sized premieres. He previously introduced “The Life of Pablo” at Madison Square Garden in 2016 and held “Donda” listening parties at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta and Soldier Field in Chicago in 2021.

Rumors of a collaborative album between Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign emerged earlier this month when new music from the duo was played during a “private listening party” in Italy. Ty Dolla $ign also debuted an unreleased track at a nightclub in Geneva, Switzerland.

Initial reports indicated the album’s release date as October 13, but it is now expected to drop in the coming weeks. The artists are currently seeking a distribution partner for the album. Kanye West’s long-standing association with Def Jam, along with G.O.O.D. Music’s partnership, concluded with the release of “Donda” in August 2021. The esteemed rap label distanced itself from the artist after his anti-Semitic outbursts last year.

While specific details about their upcoming album remain scarce, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have collaborated multiple times in recent years, with notable tracks such as “Real Friends” (2016), “Freeee (Ghost Town Pt. 2)” (2018), “Everything We Need” (2019), and West’s appearances on Ty Dolla $ign’s 2020 solo album “Featuring Ty Dolla $ign.”
