Kizz Daniel Clarifies Controversy Surrounding CAF Performance in Ivory Coast

Nigerian music sensation, Kizz Daniel, recently took to social media to address a controversy that had been swirling regarding his alleged arrest by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Ivory Coast.

In a candid statement shared with his fans and followers, Kizz Daniel offered his perspective on the situation, setting the record straight. He revealed that CAF had not directly engaged with him but rather through an intermediary.

The crux of the matter revolved around a specific clause in his contract: “no money, no performance.” Despite numerous appeals and explanations related to delays in bank transfers, Kizz Daniel disclosed that he took a calculated risk. He decided to travel to Abidjan with the understanding that he would be paid upon his arrival. Unfortunately, not only was the promised payment not received, but the full amount remained outstanding.

Expressing his unwavering support for CAF, Kizz Daniel allegedly chose to go ahead with the performance without prior payment. However, his stage time was abruptly cut short, lasting just three minutes. Furthermore, an incident involving his team occurred backstage, resulting in an assault. At this point, he made the decision to leave the event.

Kizz Daniel stressed, “I am not arrested by CAF or detained whatsoever,” effectively dispelling the rumors of his arrest and clarifying his situation.

In addition to addressing the controversy, Kizz Daniel had exciting news for his fans. He announced an upcoming show scheduled to take place at the Ovo Arena, Wembley, in London, on November 13, 2023. This revelation added a positive note to his statement, assuring fans of an exciting event on the horizon.
