Kizz Daniel Embraces Collaborations, Says Making Solo Hits Feels Selfish
Award-winning Nigerian artist Kizz Daniel, born Daniel Anidugbe, has expressed his desire to focus on collaborations with other musicians, moving away from exclusively releasing solo hits.
In a recent post on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, the Buga hitmaker admitted that dominating the charts on his own no longer feels fulfilling. “Na collaboration I dey do now, I don taya to dey drop hit all by myself. [It] feels selfish IDK,” he wrote.
Kizz Daniel has already begun exploring this collaborative phase. He recently teamed up with Adekunle Gold for the song Pano Tona and earlier in the year featured Davido on the remix of his track Twe Twe.
Fans and industry peers have lauded this shift, seeing it as an opportunity for the artist to bring fresh dynamics to his music while fostering camaraderie in the Nigerian music scene.
Known for his chart-topping records, Kizz Daniel’s decision signals an evolution in his artistic journey, promising exciting projects with his contemporaries in the months ahead.
