A family statement provided an update on Bronny’s condition, stating that he is now stable and no longer in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The statement read, “Yesterday while practicing, Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital.”

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the medical emergency at around 9:26 a.m. PT in the 3400 block of South Figueroa Street and quickly transported Bronny to the hospital for urgent care.
