LEGO and Nike Team Up on Air Max 95 “Neon” Release for Next Spring
LEGO and Nike are set to continue their growing partnership with a new collaboration centred on one of Nike’s most recognisable silhouettes, the Air Max 95. The joint release, expected next spring, reimagines the classic “Neon” colourway with design elements inspired by the iconic toy brand.
The upcoming LEGO x Nike Air Max 95 draws directly from the original grey-gradient upper and signature neon green accents that helped make the shoe a staple of 1990s running and streetwear culture. Bright green detailing appears on the visible Air unit, eyelets, outsole and inner lining, maintaining the look that has kept the “Neon” edition popular for decades.
Rather than traditional layered suede and mesh, the collaborative version adopts a stylised, illustrated finish designed to resemble the texture and look of LEGO figures. Branding details reinforce the crossover, with LEGO characters featured on the heel and a co-branded LEGO x Swoosh logo placed on the reflective rear panel. Additional LEGO identifiers appear on the tongue and insole, including the brand’s familiar red box logo.
Nike and LEGO plan to release the shoe exclusively in children’s sizes, including Grade School (GS) and Pre School (PS) editions. While an exact launch date and retail price have not yet been confirmed, the release is expected to land during the spring season.
The Air Max 95 collaboration follows a series of recent LEGO x Nike projects, signalling a continued focus on playful, youth-oriented designs that blend sneaker culture with the visual language of the popular toy brand. Further details are expected to be announced closer to the release window.
