American singer and songwriter, Madonna has hailed Nigerian music star, Rema, after his performance in New York.
Rema is currently in the United States as part of his ongoing North American tour for ‘Rave & Roses’, his debut album, which was released in March.
In a now-viral video, Rema and Madonna shared a warm embrace shortly after Rema’s show.
Madonna told the ‘Dumebi’ singer that she is proud of him, while lauding his stage performance.
“I’m so proud of you, you’re a great performer,” she said.
