Man United’s Mount to Miss Forest, Arsenal Games Through Injury

Manchester United’s England midfielder, Mason Mount, is facing a setback as he is set to miss the team’s upcoming Premier League fixtures against Nottingham Forest and Arsenal due to an injury, the club confirmed on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old, who has been a key player for United and started both of the team’s league matches this season, suffered an injury during the team’s recent 2-0 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur.

United issued a statement saying, “The minor injury is expected to sideline Mount until the next international break in the coming month.”

The upcoming international break is scheduled from September 4 to 12.

As a result of the injury, Mount will be unavailable for Manchester United’s upcoming matches. The team is set to host Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on Saturday and then travel to face last season’s Premier League runners-up, Arsenal, on September 3.

Manchester United, under the management of Erik Ten Hag, has experienced a somewhat challenging start to the current Premier League season. Following a controversial victory over Wolves on the opening weekend, the team suffered a defeat against Tottenham Hotspur in their most recent outing.
