Manchester City Unveil Their Smart Connected Scarf

Manchester City has unveiled a brand new innovative piece of merchandising known as the smart scarf.

This is a scarf with an integrated biometric sensor that measures heart rate, body temperature and emotional responses.

It has been created to measure the highs and lows of their fans and how the game affects them not only emotionally, but also physically.

The scarf was made by the Octagon agency in conjunction with the club’s technology partner Cisco and uses an ‘EmotiBit’ biosensor that has been placed around the neck to gather the necessary data, albeit anonymously.
