Manchester United Announce Signing of Left-Back Tyrell Malacia

Good news for Manchester United fans as defender Tyrell Malacia becomes the club’s first signing of the summer, as he joins from Ajax for a fee of around £13 million on a four-year deal.

Speaking after his unveiling, Malacia said it is an “incredible feeling” to join Manchester United after becoming the club’s first signing of the summer transfer window.

United, who will fly out to Thailand on Friday for the start of their pre-season tour, made their move for Malacia last Tuesday, hijacking his proposed move to French club Lyon.

The Red Devils struck an agreement with Feyenoord worth £12.9million and have been working to get the deal done in time for the start of the tour ever since.
