Meek Mill Plans to Hire Investigative Team Over Alleged Link to Diddy’s Legal Troubles
Rapper Meek Mill has announced his intention to hire an investigative team to uncover why his name is being associated with embattled music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. Diddy was recently arrested by Homeland Security on charges related to sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and interstate transportation for prostitution.
Since Diddy’s arrest, many of his past and present associates have come under media scrutiny. In response, Meek Mill expressed frustration over his name being linked to the ongoing scandal and has pledged $100,000 to fund an independent investigation into the matter.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account, Meek Mill wrote, “I wanna hire an investigative team with 100k cash to find out every specific detail involving Meek Mill name to ‘Diddy’ Case…. I also want them to look at who is powering the media involving ‘Meek’ anything to do with buddy! ‘Something not right’.”
Meanwhile, Diddy has denied all allegations, pleading not guilty on September 17. However, his bail requests have been denied twice by the court, prolonging his legal battle.
