Megan Thee Stallion Launches New Freestyle Series, Starting with Gucci Mane Classic
Megan Thee Stallion, the celebrated rapper, has initiated a fresh freestyle series as she paves the way for her upcoming album, debuting with a rendition of a Gucci Mane classic.
As part of her #MeganMonday series, the 29-year-old artist delivered her own verses over the beloved 2010 hit, “I Think I Love Her.”
In her rendition, she spits, “Show a new bitch that ain’t Megan coded / Show a beat I was on and ain’t rode it / If she think she the shit, I’m the colon / My pen gets gutter, I’m bowling.”
Alongside Megan Mondays, the Houston Hottie has also dubbed the entire month “Megan May.”
In a recent Instagram post, she further embraced the snake-themed imagery associated with her upcoming album rollout, sharing a photo depicting her “shedding” her skin, both literally and figuratively.
“Hotties it’s officially MEGAN MAY [snake emoji] Get ready,” she captioned the post.
Among the many admirers in the comments section was Juicy J, who enthusiastically wrote: “Yes sir [three fire emojis].”
Later this month, Megan will embark on her Hot Girl Summer Tour alongside special guest GloRilla. The tour commences on May 14 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, traversing major cities in the United States before heading overseas in July.
Ahead of hitting the road, the “WAP” sensation has prioritized her mental and physical well-being, as revealed in a recent Women’s Health April cover story where she discussed her journey to healing through therapy.
“It took me a while to acknowledge that I was depressed,” she confessed. “But once I started talking to a therapist, I was able to be truthful with myself.”
Subsequently, she removed social media from her phone to avoid negativity, adopted a structured workout routine, revamped her diet, and even switched to tequila over her beloved brown liquor. Through journaling, she further refined her lyricism, demonstrating her commitment to personal growth and creativity.
