Michael B. Jordan’s Bully Lore’l Said His Name Was Too Funny to Leave Him Alone

They say every dog has its day. But to even metaphorically refer to Michael B. Jordan as a dog seems sacrilege. The actor somehow strutted into Hollywood and kept walking until he punctured the fandom’s collective heart with his incredible talent, skill, boundless creativity, and endless devotion to his art. And for someone as gifted as him, inspiration strikes at a very early age. But societal norms decree that anything out of the norm is to be ridiculed and so began Michael B. Jordan’s villain origin story.

Michael B. Jordan Exacts His Revenge on High-School Bully

Like every other revenge thriller plot, the saga of Michael B. Jordan progressing through the years, having the biggest glow-up in terms of his career in the industry and finding success not just in commercial prospects but critically as well via billion-dollar franchises that he can carry single-handedly on his back, simply beats every other story in existence. And even though the world may worship the very ground he walks upon, once upon a time, the actor was simply a kid being bullied in the stuffy corridors of a Newark private school.

Years later, however, tables turn as the very same person who deemed Jordan laugh-worthy becomes the object of backlash and ridicule over an awkward interview moment she shared with the Creed actor on the red carpet. Pettiness seemed like a very interesting weapon of choice and Michael B. Jordan unapologetically tears Lore’l aka The Bully a new one as millions watched the video and proceeded to do the same.

Michael B. Jordan vs Lore’l: Ultimate Red Carpet Showdown

To get to the very heart of the matter, it began when Michael B. Jordan’s name which is similar to the basketball legend’s became a point of ridicule for his classmates. Matters worsened when they found out he would turn up at school with a headshot of himself. Lore’l, in an episode of Undressing Room, revealed:

“You know what’s so crazy? I went to school with Michael B. Jordan at a point in life. And to be honest with you, we teased him all the damn time because his name was Michael Jordan. Let’s start there, and he was no Michael Jordan… [He would] come to school with a headshot. We lived in Newark, that’s the hood. We would make fun of him like, ‘What you gonna do with your stupid headshot!?’ And now look at him!”

Unfortunately, Lore’l was not at fault for the online backlash that originated after the red-carpet interview. Jordan pointed out that he was labeled as a corny kid (although he managed to maintain a polite countenance that hardly betrayed his sour mood) while talking to The Morning Hustle host. The label was accorded to him by one of the hosts of the Undressing Room podcast and Lore’l did not contribute to that tangent of conversation at all. Even then, what she admitted about their childhood and her treatment of Jordan certainly deserved a comeback from the Creed III star.

Creed III is now playing in theatres worldwide.
