Mohbad May Have Surrounded Himself With Cultists – Naira Marley Alleges

Rapper Azeez Adeshina Fashola, better known as Naira Marley, has shared his thoughts on the tragic passing of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, and dispelled allegations of his involvement in cult activities.

During an interview with Reno Omokri, Naira Marley expressed his belief that Mohbad had been subjected to bullying and intimidation by unknown individuals before his untimely demise. He emphasized that neither he nor his record label, Marlian Music, sponsored such activities.

Naira Marley clarified that he is not associated with any cult group and has been actively avoiding such affiliations since his return to Nigeria from England in 2019. He condemned cultism and stated that he has resisted numerous attempts to force him into it.

Addressing the allegations linking him to Mohbad’s death, Naira Marley suggested that they might be a diversion from the actual circumstances surrounding the tragedy. He expressed hope that the police would conduct a thorough investigation to uncover the truth.

He stated, “I believe he was actually stressed as much as he needed help. I believe he has been bullied. I believe there were people on his neck, people all over him that he was in danger. But it wasn’t from us. If he was in danger from me, if anybody is scared of me, nobody is gonna come out doing all of these. I don’t believe in any cult whatsoever. I came to Nigeria in 2019 from England. I don’t know what a cult is. I’ve been running away from the cultists in Nigeria. I’m actually an anti-cultist. I’m against it. So many times they tried to force me into it but thank God they never succeeded in doing it.”

Naira Marley also expressed concern about Mohbad’s association with individuals he believed to be involved in criminal activities. He called for a thorough investigation into the matter and urged authorities to uncover the truth surrounding Mohbad’s untimely death.
