In a recent altercation, controversial Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola, widely recognized as Portable, clashed with a show promoter in Italy over financial matters. The incident, captured on a viral video, revealed Portable’s frustration as he accused the promoter of taking the money that had been sprayed on him during his performance.
Speaking in pidgin English, Portable expressed his anger and even threatened physical confrontation. He angrily exclaimed, “This man is a bad man. A useless human being. This man took all the money sprayed on me in Italy. Oga, I will beat you here in Italy. I am a street man from Lagos. I will beat your father, and nothing will happen.”
In response, the promoter asserted that the money Portable received during his performance rightfully belonged to him. He stated, “The money sprayed on you belongs to me. The money placed in your pocket is your own.”
