Rick Ross and Meek Mill Shut Down for ‘Shaq and Kobe’ Video Shoot

Rick Ross and Meek Mill made a grand entrance in Harlem as they took over the neighbourhood for the filming of their upcoming Lakers-inspired single, “Shaq & Kobe.”

On Wednesday night (September 27), the dynamic duo arrived in Harlem, attracting a massive crowd from the neighbourhood to make cameo appearances in the highly-anticipated music video.

Video footage from the shoot captured a female bystander dancing alongside Rick Ross, with the crowd enthusiastically hyping her up. Fans were quick to express their appreciation for Ross’s involvement in the impromptu dance session, with one writing in the comments, “One of the many reasons why I fucc wit Ross.”

Harlem native Jim Jones also graced the scene to ensure that everything went smoothly for Rick Ross and Meek Mill. Jones described the experience as “fly shit only” and emphasized the rich and fearless vibes surrounding Ross’s presence in Harlem.

“Fly shit only… Rich n-gga shit you heard? And Ross in the middle of Harlem,” Capo declared. “He on that no-fear block. 12th Street. Outside.”

In his Instagram post, Jim Jones praised the event and thanked the neighbourhood for their support.

“Shaq & Kobe,” the highly-anticipated Lakers-themed track by Rick Ross and Meek Mill, is scheduled for release on Friday (September 29). In the song, the artists draw parallels between their partnership and the legendary Los Angeles Lakers duo, Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant.

Meek Mill has recently been vocal about his confrontations with record labels and the music industry, even threatening to leak the song ahead of its official release. The collaboration between the former MMG associates comes as no surprise, as fans previously spotted them in the studio together back in August.

Taking to Instagram, Meek shared a series of images featuring both rappers at Miami’s state-of-the-art House of Hits recording facility. They appeared to be their own hypemen, vibing to unreleased tracks that resonated with slick bars and melodic production, promising an exciting musical experience for their fans.
