Mr Ibu Recovers From 5 Successful Surgeries, Still Awaits Advanced Treatment Abroad
Nollywood icon John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, has undergone a series of successful surgeries following his plea for assistance while celebrating his 63rd birthday in the hospital.
The renowned actor had sought financial support to manage mounting medical expenses, expressing concern about an ailment that could jeopardize his leg.
In a recent statement shared on his Instagram page, the comedic star disclosed that he has undergone five surgeries, all of which have been successful. He is presently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), focusing on recovery and awaiting stabilization before planning to travel abroad for further advanced treatment.
Expressing his gratitude to the public for their donations, Mr Ibu assured everyone that he would personally acknowledge each contribution once his health stabilizes.
