Jason Statham Set to Star in ‘Levon’s Trade’, Penned by Sylvester Stallone

Action movie star Jason Statham has secured the lead role in the upcoming film “Levon’s Trade,” which sees Sylvester Stallone return to screenwriting after his works on ‘Creed II’ and ‘Rambo: Last Blood.’ The movie is an adaptation of Chuck Dixon’s novel, the first in a renowned thriller series featuring the character Levon Cade.

The plot revolves around Levon’s transformation from leading a straightforward life in construction to being pulled back into the covert world of black ops. His journey takes an unexpected turn when his boss’s daughter goes missing, thrusting him into a complex criminal plot.

Notably, the film will be helmed by director David Ayer. The cast also includes David and Chris Long as producers for Cedar Park Entertainment, alongside Jason for Punch Palace Productions, Sylvester for Balboa Productions, John Friedberg for Black Bear, and Bill Block for BlockFilm.

Bill Block expressed his excitement to be part of the project. In a statement, he shared, “I am thrilled to be reuniting with some of my most talented and longstanding partners on Levon’s Trade. I first worked with David Ayer on Fury, and it was immediately clear that he is a director at the very top of his game.”

“Jason and I have worked together on a number of films, and most recently the three of us collaborated on The Beekeeper. Levon’s Trade is going to be another spectacular action movie, and I’m confident we’ve assembled the dream team to bring the first novel in this celebrated series to the big screen.”

It’s noted that Jason was initially attached to the project before the Hollywood strike and is set to play the lead role of Levon Cade in this thrilling action film.
