Asake’s Father Seeks Financial Help, Accuses Singer of Neglect
Fatai Odunsi, father of popular Nigerian singer Asake, has publicly appealed for financial assistance after suffering from a partial stroke.
In a now-viral video, Odunsi alleged that his son has abandoned him since his illness began in March 2022. He claimed that despite multiple attempts to reach the singer, his calls have gone unanswered.
Calling on Nigerians for support, he said, “Good day everyone, I am the father of Ahmed Asake, the singer. The last time I saw him was in March 2022 when my sickness started. If I call Asake, he won’t pick up. Please help me, I need your assistance.”
The video has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many questioning the relationship between the singer and his father. Asake is yet to respond to the allegations.
