Nigerian Rapper Odumodublvck Expresses Disappointment After Elon Musk Snub
Nigerian hip-hop artist Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has shared his disappointment after being snubbed by Tesla’s Chief Executive Officer, Elon Musk.
In a recent interview with Baddie The Blogger, Odumodublvck recounted how he reached out to Elon Musk, requesting a Tesla car following the success of his collaboration with Blaqbonez on the track ‘Tesla Boy.’ The rapper believed that the song contributed to promoting the Tesla brand in Nigeria.
Expressing his frustration, Odumodublvck said, “I reached out to Elon Musk to get a Tesla for me and Blaqbonez because ‘Tesla Boy’ was a hit. He aired [snubbed] me now. Fool.”
The rapper’s disappointment highlights the challenges artists may face when attempting to connect with high-profile figures, even when they believe their work has positively impacted the brand they are associated with.
