Juls Reveals Wizkid’s Perfectionism Keeps Many Songs Unreleased

Ghanaian-British music producer Juls has shed light on why numerous songs recorded by Nigerian superstar Wizkid may never be released.

Speaking on the “Elsie Not Elisee” podcast, the renowned Afrobeats producer described Wizkid as a meticulous perfectionist who prioritizes quality over quantity in his music.

“I have had quite a lot of sessions with Wizkid. He’s always recording,” Juls shared. “He has so many songs that are never coming out because he’s a perfectionist. He’s very particular, too.”

Juls, whose collaboration with Wizkid on the hit track “True Love” from the Made in Lagos album gained international acclaim, credited the experience with transforming his career. “Working with Wizkid on ‘True Love’ changed my life. I’m very grateful to him,” he added.

Wizkid, known for his attention to detail and ability to craft global hits, has earned a reputation for being selective with the material he shares with the public. Fans eagerly await new releases from the Afrobeats star, even as many tracks remain locked in the studio vault.

The revelation offers insight into the artist’s creative process, highlighting the discipline and precision that have contributed to his international success.
