North West Lands Role in “The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl” Concert, Following Blue Ivy Carter’s Footsteps
Kanye West’s daughter, North West, is stepping into the limelight with a role in the upcoming production of “The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl.” The 10-year-old joins a star-studded cast for the concert, which commemorates the 30th anniversary of the original 1994 film and will be streamed on Disney+.
Variety confirmed North’s participation in the event, scheduled for May 24 and 25, alongside renowned artists like Jennifer Hudson, Jeremy Irons, and Jason Weaver. This announcement follows Beyoncé’s revelation that she will star in a Lion King prequel alongside her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
In the prequel titled “Mufasa: The Lion King,” Blue Ivy will portray Kiara, the daughter of Samba and Nala, marking her entry into the iconic franchise. The film, set to premiere on December 20, will delve into Mufasa’s backstory, featuring a soundtrack by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

While Blue Ivy follows her mother’s footsteps into acting, North has already made waves in the music industry. Her cameo appearance on her father’s collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign earned her a place on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making her one of the youngest artists to achieve this feat.
North’s proud parents, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian celebrated her accomplishment on social media, highlighting her verse on the track “Talking.” The song’s success contributed to the album’s debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, underscoring North’s burgeoning talent and promising future in entertainment.
