Rihanna Nervous About Her Halftime Show Performance
Even Rihanna gets nervous when dealing with the Halftime Show. A little more than a week after the 34-year-old pop artist verified the wildly popular reports that she is scheduled to headline the Super Bowl 2023 Halftime Show, she opened up about how nervous she is about the demanding performance.
But given that it constantly receives around 100 million viewers each year, it’s difficult to believe that anyone wouldn’t be.
The Super Bowl, which is set to take place on February 12 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, was brought up to Rihanna by TMZ when she was out grocery shopping in Los Angeles.
The singer answered directly and without missing a beat. “I’m nervous,” she said, “but I’m excited.”
When the media pressed the Fenty Beauty founder for information on which special guests would perform with her during the halftime show, she became evasive. The TMZ reporter asked Ri specifically if A$AP Rocky, with whom she had a baby son in May, was also going to the Super Bowl. Ri just shrugged, waved a peace sign, and replied, “Thank you, girl.”
