Odumodublvck Stirs Reactions with Sarcastic Comment on Davido’s Upcoming Album
Nigerian rapper Tochukwu “Odumodublvck” Ojogwu has sparked reactions after making a sarcastic remark about Davido’s forthcoming album, 5ive.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Odumodublvck jokingly suggested that Davido should release the album under Kcee and E-Money’s Five Star Music label instead of his own 30 Billion Gang (30BG) imprint.
“Davido, I trust your vision and all. But this album is not meant to be released under 30BG. This album is meant to drop under Kcee and E-Money. I rest my case,” he wrote.
The post was meant as a playful way of praising the album’s quality as a “five-star” project. However, some fans misinterpreted the comment and criticized the rapper, believing he was undermining Davido’s work.
Despite the mixed reactions, Davido’s highly anticipated fifth studio album, 5ive, is set to be released in April under Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) and Sony Music. The project has already been teased with three singles: “Awuke” featuring YG Marley, “Funds” featuring Odumodublvck and Chike, and “Be There Still.”
With excitement building for the album, Odumodublvck’s comment has only added to the buzz surrounding Davido’s next big release.
