Omoni Oboli Shares Joys of Acting in Netflix Interview

Nollywood star Omoni Oboli recently revealed her favourite aspect of acting, highlighting the unique opportunity to live multiple lives through her roles. This insight came during an interview with Netflix as part of the promotional tour for the upcoming series “Òlòtūré: The Journey.”

In the “Hot Minute with Omoni Oboli” segment, posted on Instagram on June 24, 2024, the actress was asked a series of rapid-fire questions. When reflecting on her childhood, she shared, “I grew up in Delta Steel Company in Delta State.”

Discussing alternative career paths, Oboli mentioned, “If I were not an actor, I would definitely be a surgeon.” She also showcased her culinary skills, proudly stating, “I can make so many Nigerian dishes, especially the soups. I can make banga soup, egusi, you name it, I’m your girl.”

When asked about a Netflix show she would love to be part of, Oboli expressed, “If I had to choose another Netflix title to be in, it would definitely be Bridgerton.”

The conversation then turned to her passion for acting. Oboli remarked, “My favourite thing about being an actor is that I get to be so many people in just one life.” She also revealed her recent Netflix binge, saying, “The last thing I watched on Netflix was a limited series called ‘Anatomy of a Scandal.'”

Looking ahead to the release of “Òlòtūré: The Journey,” Oboli described the film in three words: “thrilling,” “tear-jerking,” and “nerve-wracking.” She urged viewers to stay engaged, warning, “Audiences should expect to sit at the edge of their seats, and no looking away. If you look away, you will miss something amazing.”

The highly anticipated series is set to premiere on June 28, 2024, and fans are eagerly awaiting its release.
