Police Spokesperson Reacts as Natasha Osawaru Adopts Idibia Name
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), SP Josephine Adeh, has cautioned women against mistaking fleeting passion for enduring love after Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru adopted singer 2Baba’s surname, Idibia.
Natasha made the name change public on Sunday, shortly after Annie Macaulay Idibia, 2Baba’s estranged wife, reverted to her maiden name.
Reacting via her X (formerly Twitter) handle, Adeh warned that any man who easily replaces a woman could do so again, urging women to protect their hearts, finances, and future in relationships.
“A man who easily replaces a woman will do it again. How he treats women is a reflection of his character. His children are watching (if any), and so is the world,” she wrote.
She further advised women to value their dignity above titles, adding:
“No title is worth losing your dignity over. If he left her for you, don’t celebrate just yet—your turn may come. Love is sweet, but wisdom is necessary.”
Adeh’s comments have fueled ongoing discussions about the unfolding drama surrounding 2Baba, Annie, and Natasha, with fans and social media users divided over the situation.
